Ed was my first best friend, and so many of my earliest and happiest memories were with him. I’ll always remember going round to the Holderness’ house after nursery, getting changed into full football kit and boots, and spending hours playing in their back garden with Ed. He was the happiest, most fun friend we could ask for, and I’ll always cherish the moments we shared.
